Social media is making a huge shift to video, and Live photos are my ultimate secret weapon. Remembering to take videos, photos, camera photos etc is a full time job while out creating, and live photos solves almost all of these problems.
I love making cute little videos of my day, but asking a friend to not only take photos of you, but also videos is sometimes awkward, or too time consuming. Live photos gives me the best of both worlds, and the flexibility to edit later.
Here are my 3 Reasons to use live photos on iPhone:
1.Convert to Video
Did you know you can convert live photos to videos? This is my biggest hack for creating cute reels and tik toks later!
*if you take a few live photos in a row this will create an even longer video to work with*
2. Choose a key photo
Sometimes the photo doesn’t come out as planed – your eyes are closed, there is hair in your face, the list goes on. With live photos you basically get to pick from a ton of different frames so you can get the exact pose you want!
3. Turn into Boomerangs
I love a good boomerang. With live photos, if you upload to your Instagram story and hold down on the photo it instantly turns into a boomerang!
