Sharing everything we did with our full two days, including where we ate, what we stayed, and the best photo spots in Nashville! I loved my visit to Music City, and spring was the perfect season to see the beautiful blooms and enjoy the gorgeous weather.
If you’re here for the outfits, I’ve linked everything I wore on this trip on a separate post here.
Cheek Wood Estate – Tulip Festival – You can tour Cheek Wood estate year round, but the best time is during spring when they are having their gorgeous tulip festival. We did the full tour of the mansion, gardens and tulips and it was definitely worth the extra cost. I would make sure to give yourself at least two hours to explore around.
Pedestrian Bridge – Nashville is home to some gorgeous views, but one of my favorites is from the pedestrian bridge. We decided to head here at sunrise, the early bird gets the good lighting right? We were able to get some of my favorite pictures from this gorgeous bridge!
Centennial Park – Taylor Swift Influenced me on this one. There isn’t much to do here other then walk around and take photos. We grabbed some Acai bowls beforehand and played true tourists. If you want to go into the parthenon make sure you get there before it closes as the hours differ then the park hours.
Amelias Flower Truck – this is my favorite thing in Nashville. The adorable truck lets you make your own bouquet on the go! The trucks are in different spots across Nashville every day so make sure to check their Instagram for updates!
5th and Broadway – This a relatively new area in Nashville located right on the tourist filled iconic broadway street. It has shops, and restaurants perfect for a pit stop. Along this line is also the typically pictured neon signs and various bars/boot barns.
Hattie B’s – there are multiple location in Nashville, and I have to say this is my favorite fried chicken ever…. seriously. It is not a trip to Nashville if you do not stop here.
Star Struck Vintage – This consignment shop is home to some very cute items and definitely worth a stop. Fair warning the prices are absolutely consignment prices not thrift store prices. Right next to this shop there is currently a very cool hot air balloon wall mural which would make the perfect photo op.
Explore the Gulch – We walked around the Gulch and the surrounding areas. The Gulch has a bunch of cute little shops and is home to the famous wing mural.
The I believe in Nashville Mural – This one is right next to the Draper James and Five Daughters Bakery. If you are planning to take photos at this sign I would recommend going early morning as the light is best at this time. If you are ok with direct sunlight photos then anytime would work for you!
Five Daughters Bakery – My only regret with going here is that I did not get more doughnuts. I am genuinely convinced I will dream about these for the rest of my life. The shop is also adorable and perfect for photo ops!
Rooftop Bar: While in Nashville you should definitely make sure to hit up a rooftop bar. We were able to go to two while on our trip, what can I say i’m a sucker for a drink with a view. L.A. Jackson at the Thompson hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the drinks are amazing. I got the Social Media Influencer and it was so good. Fair Warning, they do not take reservations, and the rooftop fills up fast. We were also able to go to the relatively new Virgin Hotels Pool and Rooftop Bar. This was my favorite view, and the best part? They have s’mores!
Love Circle – Looking for a more low key spot to see the city? This is one of the best views of the Nashville Cityscape. Josh actually found this one somehow and it was so cool watching the sunset over a huge grassy hill. There weren’t a ton of people there, and the best part is you can bring snacks and a picnic blanket while you watch the sunset.
We didn’t too too many of the traditional country music tours like the grand ole Opry, country music hall of fame, Ryman, Music Row etc on this trip, but I have been to those places in the past and they are definitely worth the stop! The one thing on my list I wasn’t able to do this trip was to go to Dolly Parton’s roof top bar. The view is gorgeous and the decor was even cuter. I guess I’ll just have to go back!
As always if you’re here for the outfits I’ve linked everything I wore on this trip here.
