This years Halloween costume: The Queen of Hell herself, Sabrina Spellman.
I decided to seriously step out of my comfort zone this year and go with a spooky Halloween costume. I mean jumping from princess Belle to the Queen of Hell is a more like a leap out of the comfort zone box, but I digress.
I bought the dress online at Spirit Halloween back in July (that was the easy part). You can shop here. I then went through ordering and returning 3 different wigs before I found the right one. The one I went with was actually only $15 on Amazon! (shop here)
I knew finding a spooky spot to take the photos in south Florida was going to be tough, especially one slightly secluded. I actually stumbled upon the location we went with on a walk with Bendel one morning. The one thing I didn’t realize was how much creepier it would be at dusk with the birds screeching and the wind rustling the trees. Let’s just say we shot the photos as quickly as possible and then high tailed it out of there.
Shoutout to my cousin Mali for helping my vision come to life, and laughing with me the entire time we were taking these photos. Don’t look too closely or you’ll notice the book I’m holding is actually a book on Harry Truman I picked up at the discount bin at the thrift store for 5o cents.
What are you going as for Halloween?
