Welcome to this years edition of Bendel and I’s annual pumpkin patch photos! I probably should have renamed this to annual pumpkin photos, because we were definitely not at a pumpkin patch this year. Still counts right?
Bendel and I were lucky enough to be gifted our pumpkin carving outfits from Lands End to celebrate Octobervest! We put on our matching gear, headed to a secluded spot outside, and set to work. Well, I set to work and Bendel supervised.
I usually get asked lots of questions about how I get Bendel to pose for photos. Some shoots are much easier than others with her, but it really comes down to the fact that Bendel is inherently very nosy and very clingy. Once I set to work carving my pumpkin, she wasn’t far behind watching every move I made and constantly taste testing.
I was so excited to setup this shoot, and I got way to excited about finding these vintage pumpkin carving instructions in my parents halloween stuff. The book was dated to 1981!
