If you know me, you know how seriously I take sun safety. Living in South Florida, I am constantly being exposed to the sun. On top of that, I’m also extremely pale, which is basically a recipe for a nasty sunburn.
Sun burns are not something to dismiss as an inconvenience that will either go away or turn into a tan. Did you know that One in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. 90% of skin aging is due to daily sun exposure. Five or more sunburns can lead to an 80 percent greater risk of developing melanoma. Melanoma is the deadliest cancer for young women ages 29 to 34.
