I joined the Kindle Club, and I love it. I was initially skeptical because I love the feel of a good book, and staring at a screen just did not seem fun to me.
Constantly buying books and realizing the kindly price is about a quarter of the price, my bookshelf hitting its max capacity, and quarantine seriously delaying shipping times. I decided to take a leap and buy a kindle. I decided on the Kindle PaperWhite after consulting many facebook groups for recommendations. I’m happy to report that the screen is much kinder on the eyes, and I can easily read in bright sunlight by the pool.
- Download the libby app so you can link your library card and virtually wait in line for ebooks
- Link to Goodreads for tracking and alerts
- Make collections of your books so they’re easy to find and organized in your virtual library
- Register for Book hub for price drops
- Kindle unlimited for free rentals for only $9.99 a month!
I ultimately still love a physical book. With my kindle, I now have the luxury to essentially take it for a test drive for half the price before giving away valuable book shelf real estate. If I truly love it, I can buy the hardback!
Now everyone wish me luck trying to read with Bendel.
