I had the best time walking around Palm Beach this weekend in one of my favorite dresses from last summer’s Gal Meets Glam collection. The best part? The dress was only $35! Who says you can’t still be glam in last season’s dress? Sadly my dress is no longer available online, but there are quite a few on Poshmark!
If you’re anything like me you anxiously await each months Gal Meets Glam collection and instantly love all of the styles. I’ve acquired quite the collection of Gal Meets Glam dresses over the years (read that post here), and wanted to share how!
Wishing you could buy every Gal Meets Glam dress, but it not quite being in the budget is truly a struggle. This post is in no way trying to state these dresses are overpriced. I absolutely do not think they are! I have paid full price more times than I can count for the styles I love. The quality and attention to detail is truly impeccable.
Now, back to the rest of the dresses. The dresses that you loved and wished you could own a whole closet full. I’ve got good news! Last season’s dresses eventually go on MAJOR sale and luckily for you I’ve rounded up all of my favorite places to shop them! Here are my tips:
Dillard’s & Dillard’s Clearance Center
Shockingly enough Dillard’s carries gmg! Certain styles will often go on sale as low as $45! Keep an eye out for their clearance events! If you haven’t heard of the Dillard’s clearance center that is another fantastic spot. It takes some digging but I’ve gotten previous season dresses for under $25! Including the one pictured on this post!
Nordstrom Rack
Nordstrom Rack is everyone’s go to for designer styles on a young persons budget. They often have a variety of gmg, but it goes QUICK. My advice is to consistently check the site, as returns are made and sizes are restocked! I just snagged the Aubrey coat for $140!
GMG end of season sale
Julia occasionally will do sales on her site with a wide variety of past season dresses all under $100! This sale is great because there is much more size and style availability!
TJ Max
I can’t believe this but TJ Max occasionally has gmg dresses on their site! The last time I looked there were a few fall styles for under $40!!
Poshmark & FB groups
I recently joined a Facebook group called Gal Meets Glam Fan Group. It’s a small group of girls who love gmg and are always helping each other find dresses or swapping different styles!
Realistically no one needs every single dress, nor does a monthly $200 dress fit into the budget. I’m a firm believer in treating yourself and if there is a dress from the collection that you truly love and cannot stop thinking about I absolutely encourage you to splurge and buy it before it sells out!
