Well I’m a little late to the game on my first monthly recap, but better late than never right? I set a goal at the beginning of the year to recap each month with some of my favorite things or fun adventures. I clearly don’t have a definite plan on the structure of these posts, but hey, you gotta start somewhere.
What I’m reading
I finished the 7th and final book in the Throne of Glass series and cannot recommend this series enough. It’s an fantasy fiction series perfect for anyone who has convinced themselves that reading is boring. (I may or may not have cried when I finished this book).
What I’m watching:
I started the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and I am hooked. Its available on Amazon prime, and I definitely binged 3 seasons in 2 weeks. The outfits are amazing. I’m convinced Julia Engal helped design them all.
On my radar:
Blue light glasses. If you follow my Instagram stories you know that I am in love with my blue light glasses. They have significantly decresead my eye strain and headaches from staring at the computer. (Shop my frames here).
January’s irrational purchase:
Hopefully this is not a monthly segment. I impulse bought the new KJP sweetheart dress and I have no regrets. The bow is detachable!
Monthly Achievements:
If you were expecting a serious list of achievements for the month you will not find it here. This is more of mini personal goals I’ve set and am going to post on here to try and hold myself accountable. (Shoutout to all 10 of you who read this).
January’s goal: Drink less Starbucks. I recently joined the real adult world and figured out how to use a coffee machine. Well, not really, I got a Kureig. I’ve been forcing myself to make my coffee at home rather than spend the 5+ dollars every morning on Starbucks. Update: I’m doing way better than I expected. I think mostly because the Kureig is still new and exciting and I bought myself a cute coffee mug.
