Every day we see seemingly perfect shots on Instagram, where the creative content appears to be endless. Whats not always seen is the lengths we go to to capture these photos.
I am extremely thankful to have an awesome group of very patient and supportive friends who will basically do anything to help me achieve my vision. My recent Instagram post (see photo below) is one of my favorite shots I’ve taken recently. What’s not pictured is my friend Kelsey in the middle of the street running back and forth when cars come trying to fit me and the mural in the frame.
I know this shot is just another girl in front of a wall, but it is one of my favorite photos to date because it is exactly what I had in mind while taking it. I constantly find myself comparing my photos to other bloggers, and it somehow takes the joy away from the process that I love so much. I think its important to remind yourself that as long as your having fun and enjoying the photos you take, the end results will always be great. Focusing on getting the absolute perfect shot and constantly comparing your editing style and creative content to others is the fastest and most effective way to turn a fun passion into a stressful anxiety filled job.
I can’t wait to take more summer photos, and I hope you guys keep reading along! For those of you who read for the fashion I’ve linked my full outfit details below!
