Welcome!

I am a recent Business Management Graduate from Florida State University. I currently live in sunny South Florida (with my parents), and co-own a dog bow company, Prep on Point. My style is greatly influenced by growing up in South Florida, where Lilly Pulitzer and Jack Rogers can be worn any season, and boating is a year-round activity. Nautical elements play a huge part in my wardrobe; so, be prepared to see a lot of navy and white.

I have an adorable German Shorthaired Pointer named Bendel, who is full of personality. While being a dog mom may appear to be glamorous and nothing but fun, the reality is that it does come with challenges; such as paw prints on your brand new, white jeans and early mornings dragging yourself to the dog park. My life basically belongs to her now; so, expect to see her in a lot of my photos.

As we all know, clothes are expensive, and the classic preppy style associated with being on your yacht or at the cape can be especially costly.  Full disclosure, a lot of my pieces have come from the clearance rack of my favorite brands or consignment shops; did I mention I just graduated?  I will do my best to share where to get them or where to find a similar, affordable piece.  My goal for this blog is to show that even on a post- graduate budget, there are ways to afford those expensive pieces by pairing them with some not so expensive ones. I am a firm believer that you do not need a special occasion or a large budget to be a Queen Bee.
